Who am I?
Hi there! My name is Luke and I will be posting on here pretty regularly (hopefully). You can expect short stories and some other, longer form writing here. I mostly create fantasy stories, though I am interested in expanding to the vast unknown.
For some background, I am a student game developer currently studying my final year at Staffordshire University London and looking to graduate with a bachelor of science. Although game development is something I thoroughly enjoy, I find myself drawn to writing and creating stories, it’s something I have done ever since I was little.
Why now?
About 4 years ago I met someone very special, and they introduced me to the world of Dungeons & Dragons. Before that I had done small little comic strips as a kid, but as I grew older I always had an interest in writing.
as I started getting into D&D, I realised that it was a perfect gateway into creating interesting stories, and with more practice came a bigger interest, so here I am now, a few years later with a tiny amount of experience under my belt.
I decided to create this as a platform for some friends and family to read some of the stuff I am creating, as it has been something suggested to me for a while.
The bigger picture.
When thinking about the kind of place I want for people, I always look to other places for inspiration.
To make it short and sweet, I’m looking to create a place for all people who enjoy reading interesting stories and have an interest in fantasy and more.
I am also looking for a community of people who are looking to engage with my content and wanting to discuss topics around what I make.
The specifics.
So what can you expect from me on this page? Well, I plan on posting a couple of times a week with progress and updates to do with stories I am creating, as well as any other off topic posts (these may be additional posts). As of right now there are no plans in place to post on specific days, though you can expect to hear from me every Monday and Friday, and if I cannot make those days, I’ll be doing my best to move those days around.
